The nice wing nut does not fit into the pilot hole, to large so can’t use don’t bother buying kit, rest of filter assembly is nice

Had opted to give this product a tryout on one of the myriad of engines being built here in the geerage.
Had arrived in great time – packaged well – no damage or missing parts found.
Normally top off the old big carbs on ‘mills’ being installed in 60-70’s muscle with chromie types but opted for this available as the old school size 14×3 in ‘black’ with added filtered top n sides for a mopar small block since this one was being adorned with a set of black-wrinkle finned mopar covers. End result was a good one in the appearance aspect. This comes along with the hardware (long stud n tri-bar wing nut plus gasket). Studs r normally furnished quite long so they can fit up to a variety of scenarios and this ones no exception – ‘always’ need cut for a perfect fit n even more so when topped with a tri-bar so more precise measurin or the trial n error event takes place. End results will normally come out well depending on the time given. Found the filtering elements r of decent quality and with this type u do hafta b a lil careful while man-handling and even moire so when cleaning. The elements r cleanable and with a lil xtra precaution while doing so – they do last a very long time. The finish on this particular item was of good quality thou being black will show any mInute scratching so there’s another lil note to heed what u use to keep er lookin sharp as when ‘outta the box’. Overall very satisfied with this one. Its price point towards the lower end of all similar in appearance of design, workmanship, and performance made for a good deal found.

The air cleaner is beautiful, however the wing nut that they supply is to big end to end and will not fit in the hole when you try to tighten it down ( just stupid ) It cost me another $10 for the right wing nut
