I installed this in my 2011 Toyota Prius Base. It works great! I primarily use the backup camera and apple wireless CarPlay, and both work well. The steering wheel buttons did not work with it initially, but their support team is sending me a new wiring harness that is supposed to fix it…for free!! Thanks Roinvou support team!

-Good resolution. Screen is visible in direct day light
-Good touch screen response
– Easy to install
-Good customer support. Very courteous team.

– Radio antenna receiver not strong. I hear static and low radio signal quality when compare to the stock radio
– Sound is loud, sometimes too loud and can’t hear the GPS instructions while music is playing
– No mounting brackets to secure radio to dash

This has been the worst experience with customer support I’ve ever had. To put it simply, they don’t know how to install this in a Prius. They were also pretty condescending.
in the interest of saving y’all that headache, some tips are below. (This is assuming you get the same kit they sent me)
Disconnect your vehicle batteries (hybrid and 12V) first. May go with out saying, but the instructions provided do not mention that.
You’ll need to buy a roll of automotive wire connect the backup camera wiring to the reverse light. You’ll need 18 gauge wire, though you could probably get away with something thinner. Buy something to splice wires too. I like the Wago 3 conductor things–safe and very forgiving for amateurs. And wire strippers of course.
To use the steering wheel controls, you need to splice (connect) three wires from the radio unit to three corresponding wires from your car. On the radio end, the wires you want are on the power harness; they should be labeled Key 1, Key 2, and Ground in the manual. Some dude called “Mr. Anything” made a good video on it on youtube called “How to Install Steering Wheel Controls *NO MODULE OR ADAPTER* TOYOTA 2009-2011.” On my 2010 prius, the wire colors on the vehicle end were different (pink for ground, red and green for the keys) but their location was the same as shown in the video.
(optional) The cable connecting the backup camera to the radio is short. To make installing it easier, go to the thrift store, buy a set of RCA cables (the red, yellow, and white ones like you’d use for a VCR) and splice in the yellow (video) cable with the cable connecting the radio and backup camera. Component cables are better if you can find them. You’ll need automotive wire the same length as the RCA cable. It’ll make more sense when you go to install it. but basically you’re using the RCA and automotive cables to extend the cable they send. it’s also good to have this cable in case the original is damaged during installation–easy to do when you’re jamming delicate prongs through small holes.
If this helped at all, please rate them poorly. You can buy this product from many companies, and this one sucks.

I put this thing into my 2010 Prius and it was a real nice upgrade.
PROS: big touchscreen works well, as do the apps that get you connected to your phone. Once connected, CarPlay works seamlessly! All of the native buttons and functions also work with the unit, including steering controls if you got em.
Looks much better than stock!
Bluetooth works great!
Backup camera works great!
CONS: if installed in Prius (and I assume other models and brands) you will likely need an ADDITIONAL HARNESS. I had mine professionally installed and the harness cost MORE THAN THE UNIT AND THE INSTALL. There is apparently a workaround but your steering wheel controls and others will not work then.
THERE IS NO AM RADIO BAND!
ALL Radio stations presets RESET CONSTANTLY if the vehicle is off for more than 24 hrs. Basically prepare to always tune in manually. I opted to use a Radio App through my CarPlay to solve that problem (TuneIn Radio Pro).
When starting car after it’s been off for over 24 hrs, the system takes a minute or so to boot up.
Overall: great for the price, if you’re ok with the above quirks and do your diligence in regard to the installation

My original Toyota radio finally went bad so I ordered this unit as a replacement; I’m very happy that I did. The radio fit is perfect and the sound quality is very good. There is a built-in equalizer if you want to tune the sound, and the volume is also very good – maybe a little too good. I’ve never user the volume at full strength – I think it goes up to 40 but I’ve never had it past 30. I normally listen at about level 8-10; at 20 my spouse will ask if I’m deaf, and at 30 I wouldn’t be surprised if the nearby international airport called to complain about the noise.
If you need customer support Melody is very responsive. For me I had trouble getting the SWC to work correctly but after a few exchanges with Melody she sent a replacement wiring harness.
My phone is an Android and synching with the radio worked perfectly. Being able to make phone calls while driving is important to me and this new radio works better than the Toyota original.
This new radio also has navigation capability which my old radio did not have. This is a big upgrade for me.
Overall I am very pleased with this radio.

It’s typically Chinese made product. It’s ok in an old car nothing fancy…not works on my steering wheel control, front bracket is not secure, and have to get additional wiring for backup camera.
