I was missing my battery supports so I ordered this from Amazon for my Jeep, they work but are to long and hit the hood when I closed it so I needed to cut them, easy fix with a hack saw. a tip if you’ve never done this, mark how much you need to cut and then put your bolt above the mark, this will help smooth out the treads after you cut the rod, if you cut the rod and then try to put the bolt in it will be difficult. I gave it a 3 stars for the work I had to do to make this work

I had trouble finding a hold down for my Outback which has a long and a short rod. I easily shortened this one and bent a new hook. The rubber washers were a bonus.

Our old battery hook seem to have disappeared, this was long enough to secure the battery, no more loose connection, the rubber washer actually works well, no tools needed to install this, recommended!

Great alternative replacement battery tie down for a 2007 Club Car DS 48v. Ordered 4 packs to get the job done. My particular application uses (4)12v batteries that are mounted slightly different from the 6 battery setups. Plastic braces sit on the battery top corners and use these metal hooks to secure the battery. There was plenty of thread available to use the provided rubber bushing while I added a fender washer and nylock nuts. The wing nuts provided will work but slightly bind up in mounting corners of the plastic supports. This product was effective and a low cost replacement to the “OEM” tie downs.
