I got this to give me a cigarette lighter socket in my shed from a small solar setup I have. It is a 12v setup and this cable hooked up easily to the battery with its round terminals. Screwed them down to the battery terminals and everything just works! I really like that it comes with different sizes of fuses so you can try and get a close match to the load you will be pulling from the socket. I am just using it for charging some phones and electronics so the smallest fuse works fine for my setup. This socket is waterproof and has a rubber gasket and cover. It can be installed where it could get wet and still be okay. That is a really nice feature to have even though mine is installed inside. It is nice to know that If I needed to, I could move this to an outdoor location. It is really nice that it is 10ft long too, as it gave me plenty of length to work with in order to get the outlet in just the right spot in the shed. The product is as advertised and works as it should. Would recommend.

I’d say the quality of this 12v adapter is very nice, the cords are strong and thick, slightly heavy, although I think the metal connections could be a better quality.
The actual 12v adapter part is ok as well. It seems like it’s a little cheapy on the inside, looks like it’s made of tin or something but it should work out great.
