You’re in for a hell of a time pulling your old inlet out. All of your hoses are hard as rock and do not want to come off. Things will break, and it’s easier that way. Replace all the hoses.
As for installing this thing, it’s easier than with the oem rubber hose (I’ve done both) because the silicone is more slippery especially if you put some lubricant on your turbo. It’s a little tricky to slide on and KEEP THE HOSE CLAMP ON THE INLET but at the end of the day not too bad. Removing and replacing all the hoses is far harder. This unit fit perfectly with no trimming and I’m very happy with it especially considering it’s the same price as the oem part but sturdier.
