We were planning a long car trip (5 days of driving) and wanted to listen to audio books as we drove. I knew the phone was not going to last that long, so decided we had to get a USB-C car charger. But we also might need do so USB-A or USB-C charging for other devices. We already have lots of cables in the front seat with power splitter, GPS, etc. So I didn’t want to add a USB-C cable sitting around getting stepped on, etc. This charger has a retractable USB-C cable which allow easy storage in a small form factor, and the ability to extend it out when in use. The retractable cable is not that long (maybe a couple feet), but you don’t want a long cable in the car. It just gets in the way (a safety hazard). It provides a substantial amount of power for fast charging for both phone and ipad, but also allows slower charging of other devices using USB-C or USB-A. It also supports folding the charger (if plugged directly into the power socket) to keep the cup holders freer from obstructions. In our case, we already have a power splitter and just let this hang down from the console.
Overall, this is a great charger that seems well built for a relatively low price. Highly recommend

I bought this charger as I thought the retractable cord was a nice feature as I am tired of my current charger cords laying around. The charger has options to charge different devices all at once. I wanted to give it a good test before my review, and I was not disappointed. It has enough power, and I was able to charge my Galaxy 23s, and my little Dell 7200 tablet at the same time without any problems. The USB-C cord is long enough and retracts with a slight tug this is nice as I do not have a power cord laying around my car. I can use the USB-A to charge just about anything else, even an older iPhone. I highly recommend this charger; it will be great on my next road trip as I tend to need more than one charger, and this 3-in-1 will definitely do the job.

This rapid car charger has a port for both USB-A (2.4 amps) and USB-C (3.0 amps), as well as a built-in 30 watt retractable USB-C charge cable, for a total rated output of 80 watts. This allows you to quickly charge multiple devices simultaneously while traveling. I tested all three ports and all performed as expected.
The built-in retractable charge cord is extremely handy since you don’t need to bring along a cable to use the charger. The cord is 31 inches long so your passenger can use their phone while the battery is charging up. The device is small enough and light enough that it can easily be transported from vehicle to vehicle, so you are never without power. The head of the charger swivels 180 degrees so that the charger can be angled so that it does not block access to other controls within your car. Overall a great option, especially at this price point!

I had a charger very similar to this one that I loved but it was super bulky and just very cheaply made, so my expectations for this one weren’t high. I’m pleased to say this one is actually phenomenal! It’s much smaller and that makes such a difference in an already tight space. It’s also really sturdy and solid compared to my old one so I have no doubts it will hold up well. It charges quickly and there are no complicated features to figure out. Just plug it in and you’re ready to start charging! Everyone needs one of these!!

I ordered 2 different retractable car chargers for each car. I got this one for my car because it has a slimmer design that will work better in my X1 with the smaller center console area.
It has 3 different ways to charge. The 1st is a retractable cable with a usb-c connection. It is a PD30w that will charge my Galaxy S24 Ultra in super fast mode. The cable is about 2.5 feet. The second is a usb-c port that will charge at 3.0A. It takes twice as long to charge my phone than the retractable cable. It also takes longer than my 20w wall charger. The third option is a standard usb-a port that will charge with 2.4A.
The listing claims that the charger will do up to 80w max but I just don’t see how. I also have another 60w multi port car charger that charges the same speed times as this one, so I think they made an error on the listing.
The only thing I don’t like about this charger is that you have to pull out the retractable cable all of the way to get it to retract. I only need about 8 inches when charging my phone so it would be nice not to have to pull it out 2 and a half feet to retract every time I get out of the car. Its a first world problem, I know. Overall, this is a great charger for the price, size, and functionality. I love the ability to charge 3 of my family’s devices at once.

Pretty cool overall. I wish the USB-C outlet was faster. The retractable is the fastest port and that works well. Just keep that in mind if you wanted the fastest charging.
