I have been using Elring products over 30 years and there is nothing better on the market. We use Dirko to seal engine parts, transmissions and what ever needs to be sealed. We have never had a problem with leaks after using it. It is a silicone compound but different than any other similar product. In our shop we give life time warranties using this product. It’s German engineering.

My vw gti tsi cam cover was leaking i used this dirko ht to sealed again, so far so good, remember to clean both surface before applying

Had an air leak on a Stihl chainsaw where the cylinder base bolts to bottom pan of cylinder. My Stihl dealer did not have the Red Dirko in stock. I tried sealing it 2 times with 3 bond and could not get it to seal. First attempt with Dirko gray and wala air leak is sealed

Anyone that is about to do motor work. These is the gasket maker! I’ve used this on several timing chain updates (TSI 2.0) I’ve had no problems! Well that is as long as you cover the complete part. lol no gaps!

Used this to replace the valve cover “gasket” on my 2010 VW EOS 2.0t TSI motor and it worked fantastic. The set time was quick. Easy to work with. Get this the first time so you don’t have to redo what you’ve already taken apart, like me!

Good stuff but the tube split open on the first use making it a one use product.
