The filter was not good quality it broke when installing . It did not have the screw in the package . The cover is what I really needed and worked fine .

Perfect fit. I thought I was going to have to buy a cover to hold it in after placement, but it comes with one. If you have never had a cabin filter in your truck yet heads up, It’s kind of a bear to cut out the plastic that is there from the factory. But once it’s cleaned out and cut the filter just slides right in. You have to bend it a little and it’s OK if it cracks While bending. It even comes with a screw to hold the cover in.

Its kinda of a pain to install, has nothing to do with this kit just because of chevrolet making it difficult to install one. The filter felt kind of cheap at first but after installation seems to be doing the job. I have a 2013 chevy tahoe and the interior was always getting dusty and it was all in the air, after installing this filter dust goes away within minutes of driving and the air looks and feels cleaner so it was worth the hassle to get one. Not sure why chevrolet didnt add one since the start since it has the compartment for it. I would recommend this kit if its your first time installing and then when irs time to replace it just buy a higher quality filter.
