- See Part Number 6005 for 2-1/2″ Pipe Flange; Mopar Exhaust Collector Gasket 2-1/4″ Pipe, 2 Bolt Holes, 3-1/2″ Bolt Hole Spacing, 2/set
- Heating and cooling of the exhaust system causes header and manifold flanges to warp resulting in gaps between the head and header which Remflex exhaust gaskets seal completely due to the thickness and compressibility of the 100 percent flexible graphite
- Remflex exhaust gaskets come in a standard 1/8 inch thickness and are designed to crush 50 percent allowing them to fill any pits or gaps in the flange surface up to 1/16 inch
- The aluminum cylinder head and steel header or manifold combination are configurations that readily cause gap issues in the mating flanges due to contraction and expansion of the dissimilar materials; Remflex exhaust gaskets fill those gaps permanently
- There are no rubber binders or composite materials in Remflex exhaust gaskets so they will not shrink or harden due to time or temperature eliminating the need to go back and continually retighten your flange bolts

Gasket broke after a few hundred miles of driving. Noticable chips in gasket causing leak.

I’ve used Remflex gaskets a few times in the past and I cannot recommend them enough. They’re very nice quality, and their thickness means they can seal warped and rusted flanges without skipping a beat. Their only downside is that they cannot be re-used. Otherwise they’re my favorite exhaust gaskets ever.
Tactical Taco –
Perfect fit. Very nice quality gaskets. No leaks.
Used these gaskets in conjunction with an exhaust I put on to a friends car. These gaskets went on smoothly and crushed evenly as needed to ensure a proper seal.
Would use again when the need arises.

I do love using these gaskets on almost everything lately

I checked out these and the 6005 part number, these ended up being the best fit for my application (2007 Toyota 4runner with Doug Thorley headers and custom downpipe flanges) however they will fit any 2 bolt flange within the size range listed. The material crushes for a good gasket fill and seal and was WAY better than the flat metallic gaskets and high temp RTV’s that failed me before. I would highly recommend this product and others from Remflex. Also the customer service was great when deciding between which sizes I needed. Thanks again!

Used this gasket on a 1994 Miata. I replaced the catback and gasket. Leaked at the cat on top and bottom of the gasket. Purchased and installed the new Remflex and torqued to spec. No more leak! Great product.

Said it would seal exhaust leak if installed to spec….still have leaks.

(2 month) Update: The leak is back. No its not the gasket fault, my exhaust flange is warped, so consider decking a flange and make sure both surfaces are flat.
Had an exhaust leak from my manifold and catalytic converter. Went through many paper gaskets, they all blew out, eventually running a steel one. That gave out a little while after. So, did a little research on what to get, tried this Remflex ones older car enthusiats were recommending me. I bought the 2 1/4 inch one which is similar dimensions to the OEM 2.25″ piping used in my car.
Works awesome for installation, its a thick one, the size of 3 normal aftermarket ones. My flange area were warped and needed something to fill those gaps.
so far so good!
Will update soon if anything changes
