- 1-1/4 inch width x 1-5/8 inch height Large Square Port; Ford V8 – 289-351 Windsor, Large Square Port, (Aftermarket Cylinder Heads – 2″ BH Spacing), 2/Set
- For use with Aftermarket Cylinder Heads with 2″ Bolt Hole Spacing on each port
- There are no rubber binders or composite materials in Remflex exhaust gaskets so they will not shrink or harden due to time or temperature eliminating the need to go back and continually retighten your flange bolts
- Heating and cooling of the exhaust system causes header and manifold flanges to warp resulting in gaps between the head and header which Remflex exhaust gaskets seal completely due to the thickness and compressibility of the 100 percent flexible graphite

I would highly recommend these gaskets. I installed a custom set of headers on my car and burned through two sets of other gaskets after they developed leaks. Remflex was recommended by a local old school exhaust guy and once I installed them and torqued the header bolts, no leaks. I didn’t even have to go back and re-tighten after getting the engine up to temp.

I changed to these gaskets after issues with OEM and standard replacements, and haven’t had an issue since. Install was easy, follow their directions. Very happy with the purchase.

The first time I bought these, they came…. and I was shocked!! These products are made from a material I am already familiar with from my work. The material is called Grafoil and is used in the industrial valve industry, for the stem packing and end seals. 2000 psi rating on these valves… Remflex uses a screen material internally to hold the shape, but this material will conform to nearly any imperfection this side of hitting the header flange with a sledge hammer. I used them once when I had to remove my headers to drop the transmission, and they sealed so well, I bought another set and the collector gaskets when I ordered a new engine. I just installed the headers today and same results. The collector gaskets will be installed next weekend. I am sure they will seal up just like flange gaskets. I bought aluminum collector gaskets last time, and they were horrible. Leaked on literally 2/3rds of the entire surface.

Good buy

First off I love these gaskets. The only thing is I wish you could save them. I bolted them up and had to unbolt my header about a month later. The gasket fell apart. But I still give it 5 stars because they seal up my Mac long tubes on my mustang which no other gaskets would do.

Seem nice. A little thick, pushed my headers out a bit. Assuming they seal and don’t leak, they should be perfect.

Instantly solved a leaky header gasket on my 65 Mustang (with GT40P heads). Pricey but worth it.
Update: Definitely not reusable, as the gasket sticks to the surface and gets destroyed when removing. Going to try copper next.

have used these on quite a few SBF with headers. only gaskets ive ever used that have not leaked. even with high rpm offroading where the headers are glowing red and the exhaust is flexing alot i have never had them leak. when i take my headers off, i debate reusing them because they are usually still look fine.
might need slightly longer bolts because they are thicker than standard gaskets
