Nice and thick – perfect for accommodating surface pits and irregularities. Definitely needs to be re-torqued after a couple of drives. A knowledgeable mechanic I know says to re-torque while the engine is hot to take into account the thermal expansion of the flange bolts.
It is early yet, but no leaks at all.
