This switch is smaller, lighter, and much less expensive than some other available battery switches. It is difficult to evaluate the claimed current capacity and I did not test whether it will actually handle 200 amps. Presumably, the rating is the current carrying capacity of the switch rather than the current it can handle while switching.
My application is switching a 20 amp battery charger between two battery banks rather than switching the battery banks to a load. This does not seem to tax the switch. To connect two battery banks together to power a load, or switch the load between banks, I would chose a heavier switch from well-established company.

This is a compact high quality 4 position 12 volt Marine Battery switch 1, 2, both, or all off.
Weight and space in a boat are limited. So, this compact but durable switch delivers quality solid connections in a small space. Hardware is stainless steel which is great for limiting corrosion. It is about 2/3 the size of similar quality switches.
Pro Tips: You can buy longer bolts and go through a thicker hull. Also, to maximise your charging of two batteries you may want to alternate between battery 1 and battery 2 for chunks of time rather than leave it on both. Otherwise, while it will charge both it may not max out each battery as well.

This works well as a disconnect switch to isolate 12v battery. Installed on my fifthwheel to prevent the CO2 detector from draining the battery when not in use. I can recommend.

This switch is just what I needed for my DIY solar power bank. It is the main disconnect for the whole system. The switch is well made of sturdy plastic with large lugs for the wires. The knob turns smoothly and clicks into position. I cut a round hole for the knob and mounted it from the inside of the box in order to keep a low profile on the outside. It is working well so far and I’ve already ordered another.

I installed this on a battery bank set up. To shut off all power from batteries to consumers. It handles the amperage easily, not surprising. Makes it easy to make sure nothing is using power when I don’t need to.
