Kevin D. Rogers –
I installed this door latch release cable in my 04 Honda Accord Ex and the installation isn’t for the faint of heart. There’s a lot of parts to remove but I was able to get the job done. Cable was an exact fit and worked as intended. Would definitely purchase again and recommend.

This cable was exactly what I needed to fix my 2006 Honda Accord EXL right front passenger door latch release and worked perfectly. Came with foam to prevent rubbing of and subsequently damaging cable once installed. Ordered using Honda part number 72131-SDC-A02; once part arrived, there was no packaging indicating it was a Honda part (perhaps a knock off?) Regardless, holding it next to the original, it appeared to be exactly the same. Like I said, it worked perfectly so don’t care whether it was a knock off. The original cable worked fine until I removed the door panel; apparently, a vital plastic piece attached to the cable broke when I removed door panel. Had watched a You Tube video that indicated this very thing would happen. Purchase this cable before you go to fix anything inside the door; in my case it was the lock acuator.

It was perfect, good quality and worked great. Would recommend and buy again if needed.

The cable was around three inches too short.

I got exactly what the description said. Got it fit the right passenger door on my 2005 Honda Accord ex. I recommend watching a youtube video before you pop off your door panel and replace this cable. So far so good it hasn’t quit on me yet. Shipping was fast 🙂

The product worked just as it should. It fit well and looked just like the OEM part. It’s high quality and I think it will last until the car dies. Definitely worth it.

La calidad de ve muy buena y en teoría duran mínimo 5 años, ya con el tiempo lo veremos… apenas lo instalé ayer, pero la calidad de nota muy buena.

For $11.99 it’s a great deal. I’ve stopped looking for items such as this anywhere else, because I know Amazon or one of its vendors is most likely to have the best price. It was a relatively simple install. Just watched the youtube video, and went at it. The little green plastic nipple that attaches to the door handle was the part that broke on the original, so it wasn’t obvious the first time I put it together that it was actually supposed to attach to the handle. But after the door still wouldn’t open from the inside, I took it back apart and it became obvious. Overall it fixed the problem, I just wish there wasn’t so many little plastic parts to break on today’s cars.

Amazing

Worked like it should on my 2005 accord sedan. I changed the door lock actuator and the little plastic clip on the cable that holds it to the door handle broke off, so I ordered this as a replacement and dug into the door panel again. Pretty easy install if you know what you’re doing.
