Easy to install. Love that my trunk wasn’t working cause I like to fix stuff. Was gonna replace this piece later because my auto open and close wasn’t working but I was doing it manually so it worked fine. Went up north for new years and on my way back home my trunk stopped latching so I needed this thing asap. Took me like 10 minutes to uninstall old and reinstall new. Product works like a charm not only did the latch worked the auto opener and closet worked perfectly. Good product!!

It’s not an easy replacement because of the way GM chose to populate the floor with “parts,” but once it was accessible, taking the old part out and replacing it with this one was easy and quick.
I am very pleased with the quality and have only one wish – looking back – that all GM engineers responsible for this part’s access and repair-ability will be sentenced to a life hereafter doing that replacement! 🙂
