I purchased this for my boat and though it said that it was the one for it, it wasn’t. The motor did fit another motor that I had so I am giving it a rating of 3 stars. Could have received 5 stars had it been the right one. The fact that I took the other motor off to get to the tilt and trim motor could have made me choose to give it a 1 star but it was a good motor just not for my application.

The part fitted ok, but was constructed different then the original part. As the trim motor is submerged in seawater I’m concerned that the cable booth will allow saltwater to enter the motor.
