Works very well. Pay attention to the caution notes though. Over spray can’t be detrimental to surrounding surfaces. My work bench, vice, shop floor and tool box fell prey to the power of this product. But my part came clean and free of rust. Use with caution.

Good stuff. I treated underside of ‘03 F150 with light rust coverage. You’ll get mostly black or dark brown color with some white streaking after first treatment dries. Second coat after first coat fully cures will usually get rid of the streaking. Read the directions and warnings! Any dripping onto concrete driveway will leave white spotting even if you hose it off shortly after. I imagine it would permanently damage finished concrete.
UPDATE: After using this in several different treatments, some metal types will not turn black. Galvanized metal has consistently turned white. Other metals have turned black and some cases had minimal white spotting. I used black spray paint on several areas of a truck undercarriage to get the desired color. Waited a solid month after treatment before painting. The product smells like naval jelly, just in liquid form.

Well first of it showed up in a foam peanut filled box with no cap on in the jug, for those that don’t know this is a caustic chemical you don’t want on your skin… anyways luckily it didn’t pop the little foam tamper seal thing and for light duty the spray bottles work well

Bought this to spray the underside of my lawn tractor . To prevent rust and some other stuff haven’t used yet. Packing was not too good gallon jug was lose in box thank God it did have a tight lid on . Read a review where
one guy received his with no lid on it his had popcorn in it mine didn’t no packing at all just the gallon jug with the two spray bottles . Very lose nice sturdy box , but this being so toxic I would think it would be tightly package . But it wasn’t leaking cap was tight so I guess all is well .

First of all, wear a mask, long sleeves and gloves when handling this stuff. It’s very strong and puts off some very caustic fumes. It starts to work as soon as it contacts rust. Very pleased with the results. I used this on the underside of my truck to treat surface rust last fall. I plan to treat again in the spring.
