I installed this unit on one of my vehicles that i drive only a few times per month. I had been using a manual quick disconnect clamp, but the convenience of THIS digital remote unit is a TOTAL game changer!
I couldn’t be more pleased!!!
I was able to install it within 15 minutes, and THAT included the time it required me to get my toolbox out.
Only required a few basic / standard tools in order to connect it.
I give this unit a total thumbs-up !

if you sit with your car idling after driving wherever when you turn your car off it makes a loud whine/beep noise until it cools back off and you cant turn it off or on till it stops

This worked great for months. Installed on a lightly used and garaged car. I would turn it on to drive and then turn it back off to sit for weeks. Until one night I came out to the garage to start a load of laundry. It was 10pm, and the car hadn’t been driven in 4-5 days. Heard a constant beep warning sound and followed it back to my battery to discover the main blue box part was BURNING hot to the touch. I uninstalled it and the car was fine. But, oh man, I’m scared about what would have happened if I hadn’t remembered about that load of laundry and had never gone out to the garage that last at night.

We’ve had this for 2 months and it’s been working fine until this week both of the remotes stopped connecting, they’re batteries are fine I think something in the device shorted out that receives the signal. Also the device did not fit my duralast battery, it stays under the back seat so i had to turn all of the bolts upside down to fit. Is there a way to exchange mine for a new one since I believe it’s defective? It does work still by pressing the button on the device itself though.

Simply put it installs in less than 5 minutes and it works fantastic! I’ve had it on for 2 months I’ve never had a dead battery since! We have a parasitic electrical drain that has been invasive for 2 years while this did not solve the actual source of the drain, a simple push of the remote cuts it off and we’ve not had to charge or even jump the car since then which was required if we went more than 36 hours without driving it prior to installing this remote cut
