Used on my big block v8 7.4l with Amazon basics 5w-30 synthetic oil. I change my oil every 7,000 miles on it and works great 👍

Just installed after researching the best filters..running this filter with a good quality synthetic oil in my summer baby a 1997 Camaro 28

It fits fine, it filters fine; it works fine. But it’s just a classic. Don’t use this with synthetic oil, because the puro-classic filters do not have synthetic filter media; it is pure cellulose that looks like cardboard.

These filters are very heavy and very thick steel. A little pricier than most filters but what the heck…It’s a car I will never be able to replace.

I AM using it in a 1978 Chevy Impala with a 350 Chevy and pennzoil platinum 5w30 stabilized with stp oil treatment to become 15w40 and is a great filter, next time i Will Buy the boss filter yo extend the oil change

Bought 2 filters on the same order and for some reason they were shipped seperately. They look great, are quite heavy and seem to be very high quality. Nice thick steel on these.
The actual boxes that Purolator packages them in were wrecked. One was all taped up with packing tape but the end flaps were ripped off and the filter was just floating around in the amazon bag. The second filters box was all torn up and this filter was also sitting loose in it’s bag. I was tempted not to use them but they look clean inside so I’ll probably give them a go. If I found these in a store with boxes in this condition I would have passed on them.
