It appears to be the right filter, but after monkeying around for almost an hr trying to get the lid back on air box correctly, I went and pulled the Wix filter back outa the garbage that I was replacing and set next to this one on a smooth bench, and it is just slightly longer, I know I could modify it and make it work, but shouldn’t have to, soI returned it, ordered a Motorcraft filter, and air box went right together easily. Purolator needs to correct this.

It wasn’t easy to fit properly into the groove in the housing. I got it to fit by turning the filter & pushing it at the same time. It finally went into the groove! I almost gave up & was ready to return the product. No modification was made like some reviews mentioned.
After that, I placed the top cover & all 4 screws was tightened. Success! This air filter was installed on 2017 Ford Escape 2.0L Titanium.

As others have stated, this filter does not fit Lincoln MKC. It is about 1/8″ too long. Unfortunately, I waited too long to find out, and was beyond the return window, so I modified it to fit. To do this, I removed the rubber gasket at the top opening, and used a dremel to grind down the plastic lip by about 1/8″, and cut the same amount from the bottom outside edge of the rubber gasket, so the total length of the rubber gasket when mounted back on the lip was reduced enough for the filter to be able to fit in the groove of the air filter enclosure. Pain in the butt, but it worked. Next time, I will buy the OEM Motorcraft filter.

I did not experience the fitment issues others have mentioned before. Insert the open end on the left-hand side first at a slight angle, push and set the right hand side into the slot. Easy Peezy. Couldn’t have gone better. Purolator, from all the user and independent testing and reviews, is the number one filter all the way around. Was a perfect fit.
