I recieved it ahead of schedule and swapped it out. Tough spot but not impossible just take your time. I’ve only had it on for a couple of days and hope it last as long as the original Denso(285K miles). I’ll call it good then. Running 13.9-14.4V
I’ll probably order a rebuild kit for the old one, rebuild and have it for a spare.

2011 Honda Pilot alternator replacement. There is a metal bushing where the lower bolt connects to chassis/engine which wasn’t fully inserted in round slot on new alternator. This prevented the unit from fitting in the metal slot. I had to use a mallet and give it a few whacks to get it fully seated. Afterwards, was a perfect fit and it’s working as expected. My advice…if you haven’t replaced a serpentine belt before and/or aren’t mechanically inclined, I’d leave this job to mechanic. It did save me several hundred dollars, though.

Alternator was on its last legs on my MDX, this product fit perfectly and now does the job.

I had this alternator 13 months and it died. Per the description, it’s a 2 year warranty, contacted amazon, they couldn’t do anything since it’s past 30 days, waited on hold 30 min to be told that and to give me the customer service number I already had. Long story short. their warranty is air, it doesn’t exist. Amazon is the seller, but Premier gear is supposedly the supplier. Seems like a nice scam. Amazon sells a product from a supplier that uses another companies information for contact purposes on Amazon. When you call them, they inform you it’s not them, they have nothing to do with the Amazon sales. So basically I have a very expensive core. Seems to me Amazon should vet their suppliers better. This would get no stars if that was a possibility.
