Ordered a few months ago and never opened the box till I heard the old rotor grind. Today swapped out all four rotors, 4 sets of pads and a caliper. My brakes are smooth like butter. Loved that everything was in the kit except clips for front brake pads. Everything felt like good quality. Will order for my other car. Will update if anything changes but very happy.

Complete set of brakes and rotors that worked fine on my 2010 highlander that were installed by my mechanic!!

I’ve traditionally had great service from Amazon, but when ordering bulk items it can be tricky for them to arrive in a timely manner. These brakes took about 2 weeks to show up, but only half of the brake set ever showed up. I ended up ordering these brakes from HomeDepot of all places. That said, Amazon did fix their mistake eventually so I am willing to leave some feedback for this product.
Now, as for the brakes. I think these are some of the best quality brakes you can get for your money. They are just as good as or even better than oem brakes. I have these brakes for the front and rear of my 2013 Toyota Highlander and they work great. Braking is solid and they are holding up great. The geomet coating is nice, but the Midwest salt eats at the veins of the rotor causing them to rust anyways. The kit comes with brake grease and hardware, so the only thing you need is the right tools and some patience. Overall great product and great quality.

Installed these 2 days ago. Had to deal with the sticky caliper issues that ant high mileage car has, but the pads and rotors seem great.

This was my first time ever trying to do brake pads or rotors on any vehicle. previously I’ve been too nervous about messing with my brakes myself however after taking apart my old brakes I could clearly see that it doesn’t pay to hire anyone else to do it for you. I previously had Firestone replace the brakes and they managed to remove the rubber water/dust cover grommet from the rear rotors and never replace them so bad area where the emergency brake is housed was nice and full of dust and rust. Firestone also installed the brake pad retaining clips upside down on half of each front rotor. after seeing how easy this was especially if you properly prep the area and add some suggested anti-seize to different areas like the back of each brake pad and to the metal surface where the rotor mounts to… this will be very easy next time. there were no torque specifications available however I found a very good YouTube video on the 2010 Toyota Highlander limited that told me the 14 mm bolts or 25 foot pounds and the larger (can’t remember if they were 19 mm or 21 mm) are 75 ft lb. The lug nuts themselves on the tires are 77 ft lb. I also watched a few more good YouTube videos and found that bleeding the brake system is also very easy if you feel it’s time to do that. My vehicle is approaching 200,000 mi and has never had the brakes bled. while that is not necessarily a problem, it’s something that I wanted to do cuz I’ve never done it before. always make sure to use brand new brake fluid if you do it. Open used bottles collect moisture which is very bad for brake fluid. you can use Dot 3 or Dot 4 in your system if it’s for this particular vehicle. My stock Highlander had the original DOT3 brake fluid which I mostly bled out but I did reapply.4 on top of that to push it out. I bled approximately 8 oz of fluid out of each tires caliper and after draining 8 oz I would top off the reservoir with another 8 oz or so to replace it up to the full line. Rinse and repeat on all four tires until you’re done and then fill the brake fluid between the low end full lines when you’re done. the bleed screw down on each caliper was very easy to loosen on my Highlander and it has been backed into saltwater plenty of times between the Gulf of Mexico launching WaveRunners and being in Hawaii for 2 years launching waverunners. The torque specification on that tiny little 8 mm or 10 mm bleed screw is quite low at something like 7 ft lb so be very careful not to over torque it. look up YouTube video searches on how to replace the brake pads and rotors on the 2010 Toyota Highlander limited and there are plenty of examples. I watched every one of those videos multiple times before I tackle the project and found it to be rather easy. it was time-consuming making sure that the surface that the rotor would be mounting to was nice and clean and free of rust.

Rotors do not fit on an all wheel drive 2012 Highlander.

Good quality brake pads and rotors. They have been performing well since I installed them.

Had this complete brake kit installed on my Toyota Highlander two weeks ago and so far very happy with the results: great progressive stopping power, almost non-existent brake dust and no sign of rusting that’s normally seen with budget aftermarket rotors.
