Simple charger and seems like a well-built unit although haven’t used it yet. One issue is with the DC cables after the connector are way too short to connect to either end of a battery Bank. Had to purchase another connector and build my own longer cables

Works as described, constant 40A charge current. Follows charging ‘chart’ as per short manual. Has a short and gradual current increase when powered on. Does not heats up. Fan is not to noisy. Would recommend.
