Well worth the money for pulling the crankshaft pulley off the ford 3.5L and 2.7L engines.

Used it today to replace the harmonic balancer on my 1998 Jeep Cherokee and it worked like a charm, no issues at all.
I also like the instructions inside the case.
If you do this job often or you’re like me and don’t like renting tools definitely get this. I wouldn’t waste your time with the cheaper kits, not worth the headache.

bought this to reinstall the crank pulley on my 2009 mercury mariner v6 duratech engine. worked great. I did not use this to remove the pulley. The pulley required a different style puller to remove. I purchased this mainly because I have other powerbuilt tools that have been pretty good quality and most if the fly by night mfgs selling tools here are gone or change names too often.

Absolutely a must to have tool if you are about to remove and reinstall a harmonic balancer.
It comes with verity of the sizes in metric and imperial, so it covers many engines types and models.
In my case (GM 5.7 Volvo – Penta) work very well.
Using this tool allow me to remove the harmonic balancer in lass than 5 minutes and reinstall it almost within the same time frame.
Please not the thread in the balancer will be engaged to push the balancer out and a healthy threads are playing a main factor is a successful removal process.

This kit worked flawless for removal of the balancer on a 1990 Mustang GT. (just remember to remove the bolt from the crank snout before attempting balancer removal lol)
Seems to have everything you’d need to pull a balancer on pretty much any type of car and everything in the kit is strong and durable.

have used several times now and like the tool very much. Just wish it had a little extra space to put some extra fasteners in. A small 2×2 inch cavity made into the blow molded case would have been great.

Works Great, pulls and installs harmonic balancers. One of the best cases I’ve seen on tools. Unlike other no name brands, which all uses the same cases. The case Alltrade uses has heavy duty hinge that aprox 80% of the length of the case(see the picture on amazon). When closed, the case has raised lettering with the description of the tooling and part number, not some half glued on label on top, like other brands. Plus if you don’t know how to use the puller, there’s instructions bolted onto the center of the case, and its not some flimsy glued piece of paper. Looks like its in English and Spanish. Its some kind of heavy duty laminated paper.
The only con I have is the bolts don’t have flanges on them, you have to use the supplied washer, but that’s just my personal preference.
This is my first Powerbuilt brand tooling that I’ve bought, i’ve been working in the automotive industry for 20yrs, mostly with Snap-on and Matco tools. I am definitely going to purchase more Powerbuilt brands in the future. All this for just 66.08 after taxes too.
