I ordered a pair of powerstop Z23-737 brake pads and returned them asking for a replacement pair. I received the replacement pair and had the exact same thing happened again!!!! This product is labeled Z23-737 but the pads inside are labeled Z16-1018.

These are not a quality product. I had two issues with them. If you’re familiar with changing Porsche brakes then you know to put them back together, you drop the pads into the caliper, depress the tension spring and slide the retaining pin in. These did not fit the calipers very well so the holes for the retaining pin did not line up like they should when the tension spring was pressed down. This made installation more difficult than normal. It was doable but not the usual porsche engineering quality. The second problem is that the wear sensors don’t fit into the brake pads. The holes in the brake pads are too small and they’re too close to the backing. I tried clearing out the hole a bit to get them to fit, but I don’t want to break the pad. The hole is noticeably smaller than the oem ones. I don’t think it’s a wise idea to drill into them and I don’t like the idea of them being loose in the calipers so they’re going into the trash.
I’d like to give these people 0 stars. I tried calling customer service and there’s just an automated answering service that asks you what extension you are trying to reach. Since I didn’t have an extension it hung up on me. Screw them.

Fit as they should. No problems installing. Did not use pad sensors so I cannot comment on their fitment.
