Todd Collins –
Product works as advertised. The box was quite damaged when I received it but products inside were fine.

Just as long as you know your car, these are easy to instal.
Been riding with them for 3 weeks now. They’re great!
Just make sure you break them in according to the instructions.

Pros:
+They’re drilled & slotted! Looks bad@$$
+No brake fade (although Audi deserves credit too for putting brakes big enough for the vehicle’s weight
+Pricing competitive with OE aftermarket replacement (even better as mine was a warehouse deal)
+Generously supplied with hardware, caliper pin boots, grease, etc.
Cons:
-More aggressive pad compound = takes a few stops to heat them up, otherwise stopping distance actually feels slighly worse than OE
-Much more brake “groan” on hard stops compared to stock
-No e-coating means the hats will eventually rust (these haven’t yet, but I’ve had the matching front kit on my Q5 for 2-3 years now)
Summary:
If you want better performance, be prepared to take the good with the bad. Also, don’t forget you’ll need a scan tool to retract the parking brakes enough to fit the new pads in (you’ll still have to compress the piston afterwards). Buy set screws too. Getting wheels back on these vehicles is tough enough without lug studs to hang them on; no need to make it any more difficult by having to line the holes in the wheel with the holes in the rotor with the holes in the wheel hub, while all of them are moving freely.
Maybe spray paint your rotor hats before installing so they stay looking good for the duration.

had them installed by my mechanic on my audi q5. they must have gone on fine because my mechanic didn’t mention any difficulties. they stop well, in my opinion about the same as the stock ones. saved me about a grand by buying these and paying someone to put them on instead of dealership and they work well.

These showed up quick, fit great and are performing awesome. they make me want to change my front rotors.
