I bought these back in February but hadn’t had time to install them until this weekend. Rotors were great, but the brake pads definitely did not fit by 08 Honda Civic. Had to run to the store to buy some.

These brakes have saved my life in a situation where I’ve had to slam on the brakes. They’re that dependable. There is a heavy bite on these pads/rotors even as my pads are down to the last couple of millimeters of life. Rear brake and rotor kit works just as well. A bit noisy when braking is my only con, but that’s because the rotors are slotted. Don’t be afraid to buy these because they’re not a big name brand. I would buy these again!

Can be a pain to do the proper break in process depending on where you live. I bought fronts and rears for my 09 civic si. One of the fronts had a rust spot which was highly annoying. Luckily it wasn’t in the pad mating area. It was packaged well and coated so not sure what happened there. The fronts were also missing the hardware which was even more annoying. Of course the brakes I were replacing were squealing and the car was jacked up with the tires off by the time I noticed these things so I just worked with what I got. The rears were all good though. Despite all the negatives I just said, I’d still recommend them. I think I just got unlucky as usual lol. They look good and stop well.

As soon as the package arrived I had the parts out of the box and ready to install on my Civic Si. Everything was the right size and all items when on without any trouble. They even included the stainless steel pad guides as well.
Dropped the vehicle down and took her for a spin with the new brakes and I was amazed at the stopping performance. The ABS was kicking on way sooner than before and the wheels were not as hot as they had been in the past with the stock rotors on it after heavy braking coming down this large hill near my house.
I’m happy with this set of rotors and brakes. Will be getting the rear set next spring.
