Just ordering my 2nd set of these so thought I’d review now. Installed them on the front wheels of my wife’s Honda van in Dec 2014, and used cheaper pads and rotors on the rear. I replaced the rear brakes a year ago and just now need to do the front. The rear SHOULD have lasted much longer than the front if I used the same rotors and pad grade on each. Almost 4 years and 70,000 miles on these front pads and rotors. Worth the extra money to get an extra 20-50% wear over the standard ones. Happy Customer. Easy to install if you just watch a few YouTube videos and have a few key tools.

I’m really disappointed with these. The first set seemed pretty good for a few weeks and then started making a buzzing/vibration sound on hard stops that you could feel in the pedal as well. It quickly deteriorated to making the sound on moderate stops as well. They were installed correctly and the break in procedure was followed. I called Power Stop and they said to repeat the break in again. That helped but the problem came right back shortly after. I repeated it again with the same results. Called Power Stop back and they sent out a full replacement set with surprisingly few questions. I got the sense that it was a known issue but their customer service was pretty good regardless. They didn’t want the old ones returned either. The second set ended up doing the exact same thing after just a few weeks so I’ve given up and I went back to OEM brakes. Those are working perfect now and the problem is gone.
The Power Stop brakes functioned ok but the noise and pedal feel just doesn’t give me any confidence in their reliability. I know most of the reviews are good but I won’t be buying anything from them again based on my experience with it.

Installed this on my honda odyssey, followed all break in processs. Rotors are wraped badly in 4-6 months. Before this i didnt had any warping. I had also installed expensive Michellin tire set at the same time and the warped rotors have damaged the tires as well. Total waste of money. Now replacing with bosch rotors.
Update: I contacted their customer care and though it was out of warranty they offered me a free replacement. The warping could having caused by variety of reasons but I am really impressed with their customer service. Special thanks to Susan, who handled my case. Revised to 5 stars.

BAM! slotted & drilled rotors for the Odyssey mini-van. Now having a kid-mobile doesn’t mean you can’t have that ‘racer’ look. Paint your calipers red and then go cruising with all your Honda street racer buddies.
All joking aside, these bolted right into place with no problems, seated great and included all the stainless retainer clips as well. As a mechanic, I was impressed with the quality of the kit. It really helps out with some of the Honda’s problems from having inadequate brakes on the front for the size of the vehicle.
If you are driving in an area with lots of stops, or in the mountains a lot, then these brakes will help your performance, and longevity by helping prevent warped rotors, heat buildup and pad glazing (which are a common problem on the Odyssey vans).

I’m pleased with my purchase. The evolution brake kit came with all the parts for my brake pad replacement including the rubber boots where the slides go in and rubber grommets that go on the one slide on each side as well (Honda). The rotors had to be brake-cleaned since they ship with a protective film/oil (a good thing). I had a little slippage on the first test run, but they have been great since. I would buy them again.

Amazing set of rotor brakes! I had these installed in our 09 Odyssey and works perfectly! Stopping power is obviously better that the OEM, or is it because it’s new? Well, time will tell but for the price and stability and safety (added) I feel since having these on our mini-van, it’s highly recommended! The wiggling and shaking when breaking at more than 60mph disappeared (I suspect my old rotors are warped and became unbalanced due to wear and tear). I also have it’s counterpart installed in my son’s Honda Civic and it’s also great! I would definitely buy another when the current ones wear out (hopefully after 3-5 years. I wouldn’t mind having a new one installed every 2 years for this price range!)

Followed proper Procedure to bed the pads to the rotors the drove it for a few days before handing the odyssey back to my wife.
After a few weeks of her driving, she started complaining of vibrations while braking.
I told her not to worry as it’s only the slots on the rotors rubbing against the pads.
I’ve had Brembo drilled and slotted rotors with Hawk HPS pads on my 240SX for the past 8 years and have never experienced that sensation (It is a much lighter Vehicle than the Van though)
Fast Forward 3 months and the rotors are warped.
Already.
It’s now 7 months later and I’m looking to replace these.
It was a good deal but ultimately I made a poor purchase decision.
