I was able to install this on my driver’s side Honda fit 2012. Note that the product does not come with the plastic cover that shields the cable hooks going to the inside handle. I had to transfer the plastic cover from my old actuator (I didn’t see this noted in the product description). I also noticed the plastic connection that holds the curved rod in place is not quite as snug as the original model. This was both good and bad – easy to remove it and attach the rod from the older model, but it fell off a few times when I was trying to maneuver the actuator back into its spot on the door. As long as the rod holds, I have no complaints.

I installed this on my passenger side rear door because my actuator was making a god awful noise and needed to be replaced. I followed all the steps, which includes taking the whole door panel off, unwiring, rewiring, and putting the door panel back on. My biggest issue was moving around all of the parts that don’t move in the door frame with this hunky piece, but I was able to get it in place with some assistance and force. After all of that, somehow the wiring either isn’t correct, or doesn’t work because my window now doesn’t roll down on this door. Use caution when looking for products like these, and do some research on everything needed beforehand (or even just the process). I recommend getting something to go in between the door frame and panel to make the process of taking the door panel off much easier. I was able to manage with a large flathead screwdriver, but if you aren’t careful, you could damage the door panel cosmetically or functionally.

This works perfectly and only took about an hour to replace. I’m happy with this.

Kind of easy to install. Its been a few months and still working great!!

The Linkage rod supplied made it easier to install than having to adapt using the old rod.

My kids CRV had the actuator go and so the door wouldn’t lock. The quote for the part from the dealership was very expensive. I purchased the part on Amazon with the intention of doing it myself. I am by no means a trained mechanic, but I have done brakes, replaced a clutch, window regulators, stereos and several other parts on my own. After doing the research and watching several videos online, I just decided to call our friendly neighborhood garage and ask what he would charge to install my part. His price was more than fair and I got the part installed for less than what the dealer wanted for the part alone. Very well worth it. It has been working without any issues for several months.

Fit very nicely and although i was skeptical of the quality of the product it does what its supposed to great, saved me 300$ at the repair shop, and autozone sells the same part for 100$ love it

Fit and finish it good. I brought both the passenger and driver sides and installed both. Fit and finish is good. However when opening the door from outside there’s small click and definitely not as smooth as the OEM. But it works so far , two weeks. Consider the price. A decent deal
