Purchased OEM thinking it would be good to use an OEM parts in my Polaris Sportsman, purchased and installed several months later, it started my machine once and wouldn’t take a charge after that. Decided to remove the battery and found that the sealed non spillable battery has leaked acid out of it. Tried finding warranty information and the link takes you nowhere.

Warning: if the battery comes to you and will not take a charge it is considered a warranty issues and you now have to do a bunch of crap just to get a return. Mind you it did not take a charge when I received it SO I never put it in a machine. No where in there does it say I will get my money back, no where does it say they will provide a paid return label. Customer Service message below of all the things I need to do in order to try and get my money back.
A battery that does not work out of the box is still considered a warranty issue due to it being defective, rather than a standard return. Because of this, we do need to proceed through the warranty process as outlined by the manufacturer.
To move forward, please provide the following: The VIN of your machine The testing code provided by a local Polaris dealer A brief description of the issue (e.g., “Battery will not take a charge”)Three photos: Two images of the battery clearly showing it One image of the shipping box (even if there’s no visible damage)Once we receive this information, we can proceed with submitting your warranty claim for review. If the warranty is approved, you may be asked to return the defective battery.
