For the price, this isn’t a bad choice. It includes a new frame as well as the cabin filter itself, which is quite a bonus if your OEM frame needs replacing. That said, the screen which protects the filter element was loose in the frame, and overall the plastic elements aren’t as beefy as the OEM. For comparison, see pic, which shows OEM on the left, and this product on the right. Bottom line: it’s pretty good, especially if your OEM frame is broken. If not, you might want to spend your money on a known brand filter, without the extra plastic frame.

I stumbled upon this PHILTOP cabin air filter while browsing Amazon for other vehicle bits and pieces – a lucky suggestion! I’ll admit, I was surprised to learn my 2019 Dodge Promaster City even had a cabin air filter; I always just think about the engine air filter. But once my spouse confirmed it, I ordered this right away.
The installation process was surprisingly easy. The trickiest part was actually finding the location of the old filter. After a quick look in the owner’s manual and a bit of online searching, we discovered it was located behind the glove box. Once we got to it, swapping out the old one for this new PHILTOP filter was a snap – it fit like a glove and the quality feel is comparative to the OEM filter.
Even with less than 40K miles on the odometer, my spouse didn’t think a replacement was necessary. But I’m so glad I went ahead with it anyway. Take a look at the attached photo of the old filter – just wow! The difference in air quality inside the van is already noticeable.
For the price and the perfect fit, I wholeheartedly recommend this PHILTOP cabin air filter. Cleaner air is definitely worth it!

Put this in my 2022 RAM 1500 Limited. Was a bit more difficult to install than the OEM because the sides of this one do not flex as easy as the OEM version. But it still went in without too much effort. It is not as high quality of a filter as others that do HEPA filtration, but it still traps a lot of dust and large debris. You do get two filters for the price of one and it only takes 5 minutes to install yourself.

The material is high quality you can tell when you touch and hold it. I believe this will do the job efficiently. I would continue to purchase on a regular basis. The installation was quick and simple. It’s a great filter. I definitely recommend for any G37 owner

Appears to be similar quality to a name brand filter. I counted 29 filter pleats on each. However, the product description indicates that this filter includes “Activated Carbon” and stacked filter media, but the filter material looks white with no evidence of carbon and was only one layer. Took away 2 starts due to inaccurate description.
