I have a 2017 Mercedes SL and believe me the cabin filter is tough to replace. Not because of the filter, but because of what it takes to get into and out of it’s “hiding” place below the glove box. Not an easy replacement, but this filter was/is a perfect fit. I changed the cabin filter from the original after 6 years and 16,500 miles. The original was a little dirty, but it’s nice to have a new one to replace it, and the cost of this filter is cheap compared to Mercedes OEM. It’s a “do it yourself” if you have about 30 minutes!

The base of this filter is thinner plastic than the OEM, causing it to bow downwards during the installation. Also slight variations in other specs makes exact fitment into filter housing very difficult. Much firm tapping was required to allow the lock to slide into place. Working upside down under the dashboard makes this all the more challenging.
To verify I was installing this one correctly, I reinstalled the OEM filter several times with relative ease.
This filter eventually went in and is locked in place, but only after much effort. I would not purchase this one again, and suggest finding one with a more rigid base

Fits great easy to use, good value for your money, it fits, good quality

It is great quality filter , just like the OEM one. It was perfect fit for my 2013 Mercedes SL 550 . It took 10 minutes for the filter to be changed, it is located under the glove box compartment/ on the left side there is a panel that has to be taken off, but with the right star tools it can be replaced in 10 minutes.
Overall I recommend this filter.
