The Permatex 82195 Ultra Grey Rigid High-Torque RTV Silicone Gasket Maker is an excellent product for creating strong, durable seals. I used it for both my engine oil pan gasket and transmission pan gasket, and the results were impressive. The 13 oz. tube provides plenty of material for multiple uses, and the pack of 6 is a great value for the price. It’s easy to apply, and it cures quickly to form a solid, leak-proof seal that withstands high torque. The silicone formula holds up well under pressure and extreme temperatures, ensuring that the gaskets remain intact and functional. Since using this product, I haven’t had any leaks, and my engine and transmission are running smoothly. I highly recommend Permatex 82195 for anyone needing a high-quality RTV gasket maker for their vehicle!

It’s a great sealant, we use this almost exclusively in the shop, cheaper than Honda bond and I’ve never had anything come back leaking that I’ve used it on and it’s been used on hundreds of engines, differential covers and an occasional transmission pan. The tube gets used at least every 2 days so we never even tape up the end, just pull the dried up plug out the end of the tube and pump it onto whatever needs some sealant, leave a glob hanging out the end of the cone for the next time.
