We got an HD (deep pan) TH400 from a wrecking yard, unfortunately they removed and threw away the filter and this suction tube before they gave it to us. This tube fit correctly and got us back on the road.

This did the job and was the perfect length to fit my deep pan, but I had to resize the end a little. The diameter of the end that fits into the transmission casing was a little large, so I took a piece of sandpaper and resized it gently, and now it fits perfectly.

Better insurance on old plastic stuff bathed in transmission fluid, plastics get brittle after awhile.

Worked out great on my turbo 400 transmission. It’s best to bump it in place with a rubber hammer. Seen people say it doesn’t fit or they filled it down to fit that’s wrong. They are supposed to fit tight..
