Was shedding paper and lint out of the box. Would not recommend unless you blow it off with an air hose before install.

Purchased this for my 2002 Toyota Sienna LE min van and it was a perfect fit. The price is excellent and when I took out the FRAM it was replacing, the Pentius seemed stronger and better built (if that matters much for an air filter). I noticed a little more zip in the old van so either this is a better filter or my last one was just that dirty (change them at Toyota specified intervals). Will be buying this brand again going forward.
