This is much easier to use than a clay bar, and is 90% as effective. The product is durable and easy to wash. Materials seem high quality and soft. I won’t be going back to a clay bar, which I constantly drop on the ground and have to throw out.

I have used clay bars, also a clay pad from another provider but I feel like this clay towel works wonders. Not only is it quicker than a clay bar but it’s also less abrasive and with proper lubrication there’s less marring on the vehicle . It’s easy to use, safe , and you can wash/rinse it if it were to fall and continue to use. I have used it on 4 vehicles and it’s still holding strong .

I have used clay bars for thirty years, never was interested in alternative clay products, always thought it was a gimmick. The early clay towels and mitts were very difficult to use safely, without causing more problems to the surface of the vehicle.
It took less than 45 minutes to prep the paint on an F150 Super Crew with the Star White Metallic Tri-Coat. Great color that really pops when clean but streaky when dirty. When I applied the Meguiars Hybrid Ceramic wax I found that the clay towel had done a super nice job on the surface. Perfect surface prep, without the trauma of regular clay.

Not all clay towels are created equally.
This is a brilliant tool.
Do the glass first to break it in. Then one spray of BH Korrosol on the panel and one on the towel and scrub away. Solvent based fallout removers will destroy the towel, so do your research.
Zero marring and lovely smooth paintwork.
No idea how much contamination is too much for this to deal with.
But one with confidence

Tried the product for the 1st time detailing my car. Much more efficient and faster than a clay bar and no worry about dropping it. Finished claying the vehicle in a fraction of the time and can use it for future claying needs while a clay bar is essentially good for only 1 vehicle, at most.

What do I mean by almost perfect? Well, price! The towel works exceptionally well. However, I factor price as well into a rating and this sucker is rather pricey. However, I would certainly buy it again when this one wears out. Overall, worth buying if you detail for a business.

I bought it for our vehicles but had the chance to use it for the first time to remove water spots from our window near a water sprinkler at our condo in FL. I used an iron remover and followed the directions. Then used the clay towel to remove the spots rubbing lightly. Worked great and the wife was happy. I will add that I did go over the window 2 or 3 times. I was able to remove all spots with the towel. Completely satisfied.

Before buying this towel I had seen it used by several Youtube detailers and I was curious about it. I know how important claying a vehicle is but hate the old school clay and the time and effort it took. I decided to give it a try. I soaked my new towel in some rinseless wash and first did all my windows to break in the towel then started on the paint. I sprayed the panel with rinseless and added a mist of clay lube for lubrication.
Within about 15 seconds I was sold. You can work so much of a larger area and so effortless. Did my daughters Acura TLX in about 20 minutes. No clay marring at all and it left such a great shine after all the crap was taken off the paint. I did the plastic baggie test and the surface was smooth as glass. If you are on the fence because of the price, pull the trigger, you wont think about the money when you see the job it does and how easy it is to get great results.
