The upstream sensor did not work properly and was causing the car to run poorly. I had to replace it within two weeks of installation.

For 2003 basic 2.4, Tacoma automatic transmission. No rubber Boot for floor mounting (under interior seat) where connection. Also, existing OEM heat shield will not fit (downstream) due to jam nut and crimp size. OEM has NO jam nut, only crimp. No plastic clip to hold cable in place (2 ea.). Brought 24 Feb.25, install on 17 Apr 25, on idle, engine surges off and on, truck started to have bad shaking

Bought two sets of these for the Upstream and neither one of them work at all. I did not know and it doesn’t list here that there is a difference between automatic transmission and manual transmission as far as the wiring goes. If you have a 5-speed transmission this will not work on your truck but I think the sensors are faulty anyway because my engine is surging up and down on two different sensors so don’t waste your money.
