Went to drive my classic Chevy car and when I stepped on the accelerator pedal, the 52 year old plastic cable retainer snapped into pieces. Found this same exact part on the classic Chevrolet part sites but would end up waiting well over a week and pay minimum $10 shipping. The price here is a little high but I still saved a couple of dollars paying this price and I received it in just a couple of days and not a couple of weeks. Works great.

Exact fit. Easy install. Does what it’s supposed to do. Just put it in my 68 SS ElCamino and works. Not one parts store around had this so I’m thankful I found this. Hope it’ll work 50+ years like the original one but time will tell.
Con : pretty pricey for a small piece of plastic. Should be only a couple bucks at the most.
