This was my first time ordering a starter from Amazon, and I was, yeah, extremely happy that it fit and it works. It was a great value for the price and easily installed. It functions, like any other starter. There is a sound difference with this item from the original starter, but it works great.

Replaced the starter on a Chevy Equinox (2006). The fit is perfect, easy to install. All connections on solenoid are the same, nothing needed to be changed. Starter works quickly and easily. Great performance so far and nothing to indicate future performance issue. Great price for new starter. Will buy again if and when necessary.

Update Feb 2024. The one I purchased in December 2022 is still working just fine, and I just purchased another starter to fix a second Impala whose starter also died. It’s been working great so far as well.

My 2008 Chevy impala was fine and then it wasn’t! Husband determined it was the starter. After checking local part stores for the price, which was three times higher and the exact same starter. We ordered this, It shipped within a couple of days, he watched a video on “how to” and after a couple of hours, the car started and is back on the road again! Same quality as the nationwide parts store, very good value for the money and the fit was great.

I ordered for an 2007 Chevy impala and it did not work it looked fine brand new. Put it on an it didn’t work ended up having to purchase a used one. Stressful when I expect brand new items to work. But you sin some you lose some. It did arrive quickly an was a good price
