Fit perfectly into my 2001 Audi A6 2.7L. I’ve tried reman alternators in the past and it is so much nicer to install a new one with the sleeve in the pre-install position.

The only thing I would worry about with these is the voltage regulator. Its the main electronic part on them, so if its a cheap part it may cause the alternator to fail quicker than slip ring. I’m going on a year post replacement and no issues so far, but I’ll update if it dies prematurely.

Had it tested when i received it 5 days ago, tested good. Just installed it and yes it still works. I will up date if i have any issues. $140.00 cheaper than the crappy advance one that lasted 3 weeks. Shipping was delayed a day, so car sat apart till i could get to it.
