The wire to the connectors is a little short. It does seem to put out (per the gauge) more amps than I was expecting. It shows initial charge rates in the 8 amp range. It is fairly small and light.
If you plug it in first, then put the clamps on the battery terminals, there doesn’t appear to be any spark that might explode your car battery. (This is a risk that is real and I’ve seen it happen. Always wear safety glasses when doing anything with your car battery.) But if you put the terminal clamps on first, without it being plugged in, you get a good spark.
I don’t know if the rejuvenation feature works since my batteries are OK at present.
Update….
Been using this a while and it still works fine. The “pulse” battery recovery option appears to be a bit more aggressive than most of these things. On a small sealed lead acid battery down in the 5 ah or 7 ah range, the battery will get pretty hot if you leave it for too long. It did recover a nearly dead 5 ah battery that would not take a charge.

This is wonderful.. not just the battery charger, but more importantly, the battery repair function, which is absolutely phenomenal, I do it to my batteries twice a year and I see huge differences in the power my batteries put out, as well as, how long they last.

So far this product does just what I ordered it for. Charging a 24v battery. It shows the charge status and temp. Automatically knew the appropriate voltage and type of battery.

Maybe the most important, and quirky, batteries for those of us with disabilities would be those in our mobility devices. I try not to use my power wheel chair every day and was proud that I went one month without it, but alas the batteries then were dead and would not take charge. Then I faced buying 2 new batteries for $160. With this pulse charger I was able to bring these completely dead batteries back to life. Yeh!!!

I used it to charge a small (550 CCA) battery and it did the job just fine.
Pretty simple to use really.
I liked the fact that it showed me the percentage charge and could watch the current it was pumping to the battery and watch the current reading go down as a function of time.
It has a fan inside to keep things cool which I could hear and feel a pretty good air flow through it. I appreciated that considering I used it in a hot Arizona garage.
I plan to take this overseas and use it with 220V which it says it can handle.
A good purchase and a good value compared to the HF and other overpriced and underperforming but more well known alternatives.

Had an old Schumacher charge that was on it’s last leg. My neighbor showed me his that was similar. I liked the batter testing capability so purchased this one. It didn’t disappoint. Very easy to use and easy to read.

The 2pin electrical plug is not compatible with the Australian 240v power point socket. how is it possible to market these in Australia. My only option is to return it or change the plug. Not impressed!!

We bought this to recharge our boat batteries and it works great. It is a great value for the money. It takes the battery down to nothing to recharge it back up. It is super easy to use. You might need and extension cord but the cord itself is pretty good length.
