A custom boot maker recommended use of this product prior to treatment with Obernauf’s unique leather treatment. The cleaner is citrus based. My most recent use has been to remove mold on leather motorcycle apparel. The cleaner works great and leaves the leather looking new with a nice smell that fades within a week.

Per instructions it does warn to test a small spot for color fading! In my case my motorcycle leather jacket already had the vintage distressed look, so I wouldn’t mind if it did discolor my jacket a bit.. it would just add character! But it seems to have only removed last weeks rain, dirt and mud. My opinion may change since it says and recommended to wait 12-24hrs before the next step (conditioning the leather). If for some reason it drastically faded my jacket, I will then post pictures. If you don’t see pics from this review then that means things went flawlessly. If you do see pics, I will give an honest update. Stay tuned!
