The OBD1 cord is very nice made strong connectors are really nice but I realized after I ordered it that my OBD2 scanner will not pick up OBD1 off my 92 Chevy pickup truck it’s either the wrong type of pens I have a OBD2 Scanner with 9 pins in it and it does not have 12 and the OBD1 adapter has 16 on it and then I read on YouTube that my scanner will not pick up any codes off of my 92 GMT OBD 1 cord will not work on my machine so it’s a fine product it just doesn’t work on my scanner thank you very much

It’s the right part for sure, but it doesn’t work.. at all.. almost as tho it’s not getting power. I’ve looked over everything and chased wires and this thing is now a paper weight
Donna Runion –
Just as described. Fit perfectly. Fast shipping. Would recommend.

I bought this hoping I could cut off the 16 pin end and keep the 12 pin ALDL end and wires for use on 1980’s GM Ponitic Fieros that use 160 Baud ALDL on pin E and Diag Select on pin B.
It turns out that those two pins are not wired (by design) so this cable is not suited for Fieros ECMs that use 160 Baud. This cable will work on some 8192 Baud ECMs.
This cable is wired as follows (note: your signal names may vary) :
Signal: 12 pin end – 16 pin end
GND: A – 4 & 5
FUEL PUMP: G – 16
8192_BAUD_DATA: K & M – 7
No other pins are wired.
The seller had good communications. I decided to cut open the 12 pin connector and wire it for my needs, so I ended up keeping this cable.
I gave the seller 5 stars. This was not seller’s fault but listing in the ad which the pins are connected will help others.
Note to Seller: You may want to add the pins connected as I mentioned above to your description.

Hooks up just fine. Just can’t get a reading with it anyway. My OBD2 reader works just fine on other vehicles. Not sure what the issue is.
