I have a 2003 Subaru Forester and the check engine light has been on for some time. I checked it with my OBD-II device and it showed an O2 sensor, downstream code. I ordered this and replaced the bad sensor. It threaded in to the hole very nicely. Getting the old one out was the bigger issue, but I did manage to break it loose and remove it. The wiring harness was the same as my Subaru harness so the electrical hookup was a breeze. The check engine light didn’t go off by itself, but I shut it off using that OBD function. I cleared the code and it hasn’t come back on since. I think that I have a couple of hundred miles on it since the change so I’m pretty happy with that outcome. The price was a heck of a lot cheaper than my local auto parts store. I’m very pleased with this purchase.
