I’m surprised both filters appear to be correct for my car. I was under the impression (after ordering them) that the engine air filter wouldn’t be the right size for a 2023 Sonata N-Line, but it does appear to be the correct size when I compare it side by side with the Wix one I already owned. In my photos, this one is always on the left and the Wix is always on the right. Overall, this filter would give the car more horsepower than the Wix, but it won’t filter the air as well as the Wix. Great filtration robs power and poor filtration grants power. Overall, this one visually looks fine, and I’m not saying it would filter poorly. The quality feels and looks good, it just isn’t as high quality as the Wix filter. I’ll update this review once I test fit whether it truly fits an N-Line or not.
The cabin air filter visually looks to be very nice quality. As far as feeling goes, it feels superior to the PureFlow PC99554X I currently have installed in my car. It is more rigid, which is not always a sign of an easy installation, but it can be a sign of better quality. In the case of a Sonata, the cabin filter doesn’t need to bend to fit, so this one is possibly better than the PureFlow filter I removed and showed in my video.
Update: I’ve added two photos showing this filter next to my OEM filter with 17k miles on it and next to that, the Wix filter. In short, based on how it looks and feels, this filter isn’t as high quality as the OEM or Wix filters, but it isn’t a bad filter. It just won’t filter the air as much as the other two options because they have better pleats. I would assume that it gives a little more horsepower than the other two since the pleats are less restrictive looking. However, I do not have the testing equipment to give real, trustworthy data. I’ve decided it is good enough to use, but I will check it every few thousand miles to see if it is getting dirty or not. And I will likely replace it before the seller’s 12,000 mile recommended interval. We’ll have to wait and see.

After my recent oil change, the technician recommended I replace the air filter on my 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz. I opted not to have it done at the service center, as I knew changing the air filter was a simple task. Although I hadn’t yet changed the filter on my new vehicle, I was confident I could handle it myself.
I decided to purchase this filter set because it included both the engine and cabin air filters, and it was competitively priced compared to similar options. I haven’t yet swapped out the cabin filter (I plan to do that in about a year), but I inspected the filter and was happy with the quality of the product.
The engine filter swap was incredibly easy—by far the quickest and simplest I’ve ever done. There’s one clamp securing the filter housing, and two more clips underneath that release the filter. Once those were removed, I just pulled the old filter out and slid the new one in. The whole process took less than a minute. Before replacing the filter, I inspected the quality, and the new filter matched the OEM filter that came with my vehicle perfectly.
A quick note for those less familiar with car maintenance: Replacing the cabin air filter is more involved. You’ll need to remove the glove box to access it, which can be a bit tricky if you’re not comfortable working on your car. If that sounds intimidating, I’d recommend leaving it to the professionals. Also, keep in mind that some service centers may not allow you to provide your own filters, so if you’re planning to have a professional replace the cabin filter, you might want to just purchase the engine filter separately.
Overall, I’m satisfied with my purchase and the ease of the engine filter swap.

It fits perfect on the Kia Sportage 2023, l was nervous about ordering and for it to not fit but I am glad it did, at the dealership l was getting charged almost 200 dollars to switch them, please don’t spend that money if you can do it yourself, these are great quality and it has more filters in between them than the one that kia has, installing was easy enough, good price for both filters, totally worth buying.
