These come in a convenient container as shown and are greased. For those that need color-coding… too bad. They’re all the same color — black. But, it looks good. OEMish. Will buy these again if I ever run out. Buying two with a battery can run anywhere from 2.99 to 3.99 plus tax. Getting this many in one container is great. Good addition to any DIY’er’s tool box.

I am a field generator technician and I’ve come across batteries that are over +5 years old with these pads on them and the terminals still look good as new.

Je viens de recevoir ce produit livraison rapide 31 Mars 22. Je vais l’essayé sur mes divers véhicules et mon bateau. J’espère 🤞🏻 que ça fonctionne bien… Chaque automne ou printemps, je dois nettoyer certaines des pôles de batterie. Je vais bientôt sortir quelques un de mes véhicules, convertible, bateau, kart. Dans quelques mois, je vous reviens avec mon point de vue sur le produit.

I’m not sure about the other guy’s quantity problem, but these are not only the best terminal protectors, in my shop I’ve found they are the ONLY terminal protectors that actually work. I just received another new jar from a local auto parts house (at a considerably higher price than Amazon), and while I’m not going to count them, the jar is full.
Don’t waste your money on other brands, especially the ones that are red for positive and green for negative. This NOCO product with the thick oozy red material prevents all corrosion from forming on battery terminals. The battery tie-down bar will still corrode, but there will be NO corrosion on the actual terminals or cables.
** UPDATE **
Since my last review, I have purchased another can of these, but this time from Amazon. I was very surprised to find THEY ARE NO LONGER RED! The thick, oozy red material is not there. Now it is clear. I called the company and the rep told me the red is simply a coloring dye that in the interest of a cleaner looking engine compartment has been eliminated. The clear doesn’t look as messy. He assured me the product is exactly the same and will work just as well as it always has. I hope so.

Ordered the 50 pack of Battery Corrosion Terminal protectors. They are large, they cover the base of battery terminals very well, and are impregnated with oil. I cannot vouch for their effectiveness yet, as they were just installed. The only reason for the 4 star rating vice a 5 star rating, is that when I removed the plastic manufacturer’s container form the shipping box, some of the oil had leaked through the seal on the container and had leaked onto the outside of the plastic container. Not difficult to clean up,but if it’s the oil that provides the protection of the terminal, how much did I lose and how much effectiveness might be lost?

Anti-corrosion pad are helpful but not always essential on modern batteries.
However, I tend fit them every time I fit a new battery to a car, just for peace of mind.
