The item doesn’t disconnect with 1/4 turn it requires unscrewing to the point that it will fall off if you go any further.
Also, the bolts are the wrong size, the one to connect the battery cable to the unit is too short, the one to screw into the battery is too big for the battery terminal hole. The short one from the other side is the correct size for going into the battery. The unit will separate into two pieces if you unscrew it all the way.

This is about the most simple way to isolate a car battery there is. Easy to install and use. By just throwing the switch you disconnect the battery and eliminate ghost draws that drain batteries during storage. The quality of this switch is kinda low but due to its simplicity it does not effect the function so much. I will say that there is limited amount of contact in the switch which could be improved to increase the performance. I can see where the switch could be too tall if you have low clearance under the hood. If that is so they make similar switches that eliminate this.
All in all for this price its a great deal and sure beats replacing a dead battery.
