I ordered this Nilight 4 Pin Trailer Wiring Harness Kit 56490 Custom Simple Fit Tow Hitch to install on my 2023 Kia Telluride Model: S. The kit connectors are all compatible with the vehicle, so installation was very straightforward. All the trailer lights function without any problems. The installation instructions (included with the kit) were easy to understand and follow. The reason I selected this harness was because it doesn’t require any cutting or splicing of the vehicle factory wiring. I am happy with the purchase.

The description of this product says it will fit a 2024 VW Tiguan. It does not.

It is not suitable for Tiguan -2018 until I made some changes to its interface, but it will cause some auxiliary functions of my car to disappear(side assistance unvaliable). I only recently discovered this, but it has exceeded the return validity period

Please avoid this item. The tail light connectors are a tight fit, one of the connector broke but still functioned, the other was a pain to hookup, the female plug was really tight for the stock wiring male connection , took a bit of a struggle to make it fit. More IMPORTANTLY though there seems to be some sort of problem with the module( black box) itself. It did not consistently work with the turn signals, only the tail light and brake lights were constantly working. I ended up having to by- pass the module and wire the left signal and right signal wires directly to the connection end that you would use to connect to your trailers wiring. I’m not sure if bypassing the module with the signal wires will lead to any future electrical issues since now the harness works even without a constant 12v supply.As of right now I left the ground, 12V supply, and what is suppose to trigger the tail light pin plugged into the module. The right signal and left signal pins are wired directly to the bulb connectors. It’s working but it was quite a mess to get it all figured out and unsure of potential draw issues. Do not recommend for anyone that doesn’t have some experience with wiring and troubleshooting electrical.

This was just what I needed to hook up trailer lights on my wifes 2024 Kia Telluride, it was easy to install and works perfectly. It was a way better choice than cutting and splicing in wires. It fit perfectly and seems to be high quality.
