CCHUBBARD –
Recently completed a tune up on my wife’s 2019 Ford Edge. We do our best to keep her car running great since she puts about 2k miles a month on it for work. She recently hit 100k miles and we felt it best to change fluids, plugs and coils. That was about 3 months ago. Since then, 2 of the 4 new coils have gone bad (50% failure rate) resulting in misfires in different cylinders. Compared to OEM parts, these NGKs are very cheap on Amazon. However I suspect they may not meet NGKs quality standards and may in fact be counterfeit parts.
