This starter is not made correctly for an ONAN engine because the gear mesh between starter & ring gear is too wide, and mesh is not adjustable. Starter teeth jam in the ring gear making lots of noise and eventually chews up the ring gear teeth. Otherwise starter works ok but it doesn’t meet any of my needs.

This PDOK starter for Onan engine was well described in the listing. This was the exact one I needed. The starter arrived as promised and was well packaged.
