seriously dont waste money and time on this if youve got a 2 wire deere 970 or 1070 alternator, it looks the same but it will not charge . returning

This generator worked fine on my John Deere 1070. I used this to replace the lower amperage generator that was giving me trouble at times and making the charging light flash.

Installed on a JD4100 works great!
You do need to change the connection – there are 3 outputs any you only need to use two. Considering the price difference to a JD it is a minor inconvenience to save substantially.
Had a shipping issue that the seller resolved quickly and in a professional manner.
I also replaced the regulator with a D&B that worked better than another aftermarket part.

Very poor seller response. Seller has no idea why they are 3 wires.
In order to get 30 ampers output you must purchase 3 phase rectifire and regulator.
You must buy motorcycle rectifire / regulator to replace the OEM one. On Ali express there are many of them.
When installing this alternator it requires to replace the OEM wire to heavier AWG.
IT IS NOT SIMPLE other wise stay with OEM alternator. This is not install and play for people who are not familiar with electronic. DO not expact any help from seller.
I contact the main distributor of this product they have no idea.
It is Chinese made product but since there is very limited space for John deere 1070 this is the only option.if you have any questions I will be glad to help

The alternator was described as fitting a Deere 2305. However, the replacement has three wires with three plugs and the original had two wires and one plug. I hadn’t removed the old alternator when I placed the order. I have an email to the company and hope to head back from them soon. Perhaps there is something I’ve overlooked. I will update the review after hearing from them.
